Advice
What’s one thing every prospective PLU student should know?
College is the most important investment that you will ever make – and it is an investment in yourself. Take the search process seriously, spend time honestly considering what you want out of your college experience as well as what you hope to contribute. Keep a journal about your campus visits. Ask questions and make time to reflect. Get to know your PLU admission counselor and engage him/her in the process.
What do you like about living in the Northwest?
Even though I was raised in the Midwest, I feel completely at home in the Pacific Northwest. The sheer beauty of the mountains and water that surrounds the Tacoma area amazes me every day. I also value the focus on environmentalism and the cultural diversity found within this region, as it is very different from what I experienced while growing up in Minnesota.
