Advice

What do you like about living in the Northwest?

I particularly enjoy the landscape of the Northwest. There are beautiful hikes in all the Washington parks, and many other activities that bring people into the wilderness. One thing that makes the Northwest so unique is we have mountains to ski down, beaches to walk on, and forest to wander through all at our finger tips. I am still discovering new places to explore even after growing up in this area.

What’s one thing that still surprises you about PLU?

The continuous growth on campus never ceases to amaze me. PLU has a vision for how we can further embody the values of Lutheran higher education and create an environment of service, and inquiry for our entire campus. Being witness to the steps we take forward toward that vision creates a great sense of integrity throughout our community.
