President's and Regents' Scholars

Academic excellence at PLU

The Regents' and President's Merit Scholarship recognizes academic, co-curricular and leadership achievement in the incoming freshman class. From the scholarship applicant pool, PLU selects students who demonstrate the most potential for affecting positive change and leadership at PLU in both the academic and co-curricular life of the university. Both scholarships are renewable for three years of undergraduate study. Selected students will be asked to campus for an interview, and those students offered a scholarship must reply to the offer by May 1.

For the 2009-2010 academic year, nearly 600 students applied for the President’s Scholarship. One-hundred were chosen for the award.  Five students were named Regents’ Scholars.

To be considered for the Regents’ and President’s Scholarship competition, please postmark the scholarship application as well as the application for admission by December 15.
